Hey, it’s been awhile. I was just getting through the winter term. And re-working my book proposal. And worried about the health of some people I love. That’s just how it was.
But now here comes spring and the release of Lunation, a fabulous collection of poetry by 114 women, mostly from New Hampshire & Maine. I’m grateful that Mike Nelson, Portsmouth’s Poet Laureate, asked me to submit and that Crystal Paradis‘ Feminist Oasis sponsored the publication. It is filled with such rich work. I had a chance to hear some of the writers at the publication launch at South Church in Portsmouth a couple weeks ago, and now I get to hear more of them, and read along with them, while backed by a band. This is going to be a new experience for me and should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow night. Wednesday, 3/21. 7-9 pm. Book & Bar, Portsmouth. If you’re in the area, stop by!
